Installation and Setup

Installation of InMa

The extension does not require any further settings during installation.

ATTENTION: By downloading InMa you agree to the license agreement on behalf of your company.

Yet it is advisable to use the first entry in InMa to inform your users about the new extension. In order to achieve this, simply create a record, e.g. with the URL to https://hhi-it.de/html/en-US/InMa/InMa_UserHelp.html, the InMa-type "notify", with a longer notification period and the following description:

From now on, you will receive important information about BC when you login. Use "InMa" as a keyword in the BC search to access the [InMa - Information List], where further information is stored for you. For more information, select [Open URL] in menu or expand the FactBox (small i, top right) for the record named "InMa".

Permission Sets of InMa
  • InMa - User

With this Permission Set, a user receives basic access to InMa. He/she can view the list of all stored information and may receive a notification when logging if this falls within the reporting period you have defined.
  • InMa - Admin

With this Permission Set, a user receives admin access to InMa. He/she can create and change information with and without a notification period.

Note: All tables in InMa are cross-company.

Note: InMa checks whether a GUI exists before displaying information at login. Therefore a process will not block if you have accidentally assigned an InMa permission to a system user.
