Introduction

• Simplify the process of changing companies.

  All multiple company lists created by me include menu items or links that allow you to navigate directly to a corresponding page in another company. Example: From the multi-company overview 'MCT - Annual Financial Stmt XAC' you can go directly to the 'General Ledger Setup' page for a selected company. You don't have to switch company yourself first and then navigate to 'General Ledger Setup'.

• Allow your users or your controlling department to view, filter, and sort multi-company lists.

  In simple multiple company lists, you can sort and filter only by the internal company name and the display name. With 'MCT - Company Information XAC' and 'MCT - Annual Financial Stmt XAC' (various dates related to the annual financial statements), you’ll find two examples where filtering and sorting in the other columns is also enabled. This type of list is ideal when the displayed data isn’t needed on a minute-by-minute basis, since creating copies in the background is required for that.

• Make user management easier for your administrators with multi-company editing and copying functions.

  With MCT, your administrators can, among other things, copy user data (User Card, User Setup, User Settings) from one user to another, or review a single user’s settings across all companies as a list and transfer them from one company to another. All of this is simple and very fast.

• Easily assign permissions to multiple users in one go.

  If you already have multiple users in your system and want to assign or delete permissions for them later, you can do so centrally with a single call using MCT. You don't need to access each user individually.

• Keep track of the status of important system components across all companies, such as your outgoing e-mails.

  With the help of 'MCT - Mail Status AC', you can get an overview of how many invalid emails have accumulated in the outbox for each company and can switch to the respective company if necessary.

• Start or stop job queues across multiple companies in just a few steps from a central location.

  Using the page 'MCT - Job Queue Entries XAC', you can quickly check the status of your Job Queues and change the status if necessary. The 'MCT - Job Queue Entries AC' page also allows you to copy a selected Job Queue to multiple companies.

All pages of MCT can only be accessed via its own start page.

If your system has been enhanced with custom fields (e.g., in theCompany Information or User sections), MCT can be customized to match your system. Custom extensions for MCT can usually be implemented in just a few hours and can be booked directly with me.

In particular, the User Setup section is often extended with custom fields by BC apps when access rights for these apps are mapped through an enhancement of the User Setup rather than through Permissions. MCT already takes this behavior into account: when copying a User Setup, fields from the extensions are also copied automatically. However, these fields cannot be automatically displayed in MCT without an MCT customisation. If you would like these fields to appear in MCT as well, you can order a custom MCT extension for User Setup from me, which, in most cases, you can even modify to suit your needs on your own later on.

Multiple company pages usually have to be programmed to suit your needs. Pragmatic and helpful solutions can be created very quickly, also complex and very convenient solutions are possible. In addition to fields from tables or pages, values from tiles or FlowFields can also be integrated or reports can be attached.

Another major advantage is that users can be provided with links and menu items, allowing them to switch not only to the required company, but also to the point inside the other company required in that context. This can help to increase user acceptance and possibly even save working time. A small saved click alone may not make much difference, but if this is saved often or by a large number of users during the day, it does.

• Invoice settlement

  Have multi-company lists created so that you can quickly find open invoices and switch more easily to the positions required for processing in the respective company.

• Tax assessments

  Centrally identify the companies in which tax assessments still need to be processed and who has been assigned as the person responsible in your system.

• Configuration

  With a corresponding page, configurations in several companies can be adjusted centrally, quickly and easily. Values that have to be entered identically in X companies can be entered in one place and transferred to selected companies without errors.
